Allround warehouse employee

Do you have experience in logistics and are you looking for a new workplace? Then look no further! We are looking for an all-round warehouse employee who already has some experience with the forklift, checking incoming and outgoing shipments and isn’t afraid for any big challenges. You will be working at your new workplace at Schiphol-Rijk. Where international shipments from various customers come in every day and concerns air freight. Together with a dynamic and friendly team, you handle the import and export every day. And have you been working here for some time and have you proven yourself? Then it is possible that you are eligible for a permanent contract! Don't you have a valid forklift certificate? No problem, we are happy to offer you a repeat course!

What are you going to do?

• You are constantly busy with different activities, you carry out assignments accurately and you are responsible for:
• Building and dismantling aircraft plates and filling aircraft containers;
• Checking incoming and outgoing shipments;
• Working according to safety and efficiency guidelines and sometimes with hazardous substances.

Who are you?

• You can apply for a VOG and to do a screening;
• Flexible, you can work morning, evening, night shifts and weekends;
• You are available full-time;
• You have experience in logistics;
• Physically strong, you are able to perform heavy work (such as lifting/moving);
• You speak Dutch and/or English;
• You can work independently and in a team.

What do we offer you?

• Salary of 11.57 EUR gross per hour (excluding allowances);
• Full-time job of 40 hours a week with alternating shifts;
• – Morning 06:00-14:30 h
•  – Afternoon 14:30-23:00 h
•  – Night 22:00-06:30 h
• Surcharges in the evening and night hours and on weekends;
• – Monday to Friday: 18:00 – 23:59 h surcharge of 25%
• – Monday to Friday: 00:00 – 05:59 h surcharge of 35%
• – Saturday: 00:00 – 23:59 h surcharge of 50%
• – Sundays and public holidays: 00:00 – 23:59 h surcharge of 100%
• Travel allowance;
• Development opportunities; UBN offers various courses if you need them.
