Logistic Employee

Working in the evenings and night hours? This is possible as a Logistics Employee for this large parcel company located on the Ruigoord industrial estate in Amsterdam! Approximately 100 drivers come daily between 6:00-10:00 to load their packages. These are packages that need to be unloaded and sorted by the evening and night shift, and you have an important role in this!

Together with a permanent team of colleagues, you will unload the loads from the trucks that come from the logistics center. You come across large packages that weigh nothing and then you are surprised by small packages that you have to lift with two people. Keep in mind that you will be lifting packages between 1 and more than 25 kg, which you sort out and lift into trollies. The advantage is that because of these physical efforts you no longer have to go to the gym and you get paid for it!

For this position, it is important that you:

• Master the Dutch and/or English language;
• You find it no problem to work with a weekly changing schedule (evening and night shifts);
• You like to be in motion throughout the service and do not like to sit still;
• You are able to perform physical work.

Within this position you never have to get bored. Time flies by and during the breaks there is always time for a nice chat with your colleagues. There is alternation between the physical part and being busy with administrative work.

We offer:

• A basic salary of 12.90 EUR gross per hour.
• Between 20:00 and 24:00 and between 05:00 and 07:00 you get 14.00 EUR gross per hour;
• Between 24:00 and 05:00 you get 14.35 EUR gross per hour;
• There is a travel allowance, and if you come by public transport… Don't throw away your tickets because you can declare them 1-on-1.

Last but not least, you are also eligble for a bonus of €600 each 6 weeks, and the only thing you have to do is work your evening/nightshifts and work according to house- and safetyrules. Basiclly this is an extra pay and easily obtained!
