Packing worker

Will you be our new colleague? Are you looking for a part-time job in Amsterdam and do you like to work quickly and with your hands? Then we are looking for you! As a packing employee, you ensure that the fruit baskets are packed with foil, lifted (5-7 kg) and placed in the carts. Keep in mind that you have to lift the baskets up, the highest shelf where the baskets will stand is up to 1.80 meters. The pace is high, so continuing to work is desirable. Think of it as two-in-one, sport and work in one! You work from Thursday to Sunday from 09:00 to approximately 14:00. This can eventually be expanded to 5 days a week.

In addition, we also have a special "department" where you only put bananas in baskets. Bananas are the hardest to pack, so if you can do this, you can start dividing the other fruits as well. Here we ask the following:

• Hand eye coordination must be good;
• Being able to count well and quickly;
• The work pace is high, so you have to be able to work quickly.

In addition, you are physically able to stand for a long time and to work quickly. Furthermore, we ask you to have muscles, now you must be thinking why? Because you lift a lot in the hours that you work, up to 7 kg and you lift the baskets above your head. It is also important that you:

• Are available from Thu to Sun, for +/- 24 hours a week;
• Master the Dutch or English language;
• You are physically strong because you must be able to lift fruit baskets of +/- 7 kg.

• Salary is 9,96 EUR per hour excluding allowances;
• Surcharge of 120% on Saturday and Sunday;
• Pleasant working hours from Thursday to Sunday from 09:00 till +/- 14:00.
