Supervisor

Are you the person who always keeps an overview and is well-motivated? Then we are more than happy to tell you more about the position and the company culture! We are looking for a supervisor for our greenhouse in Amstelveen, where we have been the specialist in cacti, bamboo and seasonal themes for over 25 years. What are you going to do? Together with your team in the large hall, you will ensure that the work is produced efficiently every day and that the customer receives the products on time. Together with the team leader, you closely monitor the production process and monitor safety, quality and efficiency. In addition, you are the replacement for the team leader in his absence.

You also have the following tasks:

• You are responsible for outgoing goods;
• You participate in the production of orders and keep track of the CC carts and kegs;
• You keep the department neat and orderly.

It is important that you can identify with the following:

• You have strong communication skills and you speak Dutch and English;
• You stand firm and know how to deal with stressful situations;
• You are a team player, keep an overview and do not have a 9:00 to 17:00 mentality
• You have your own transport or you live in Amstelveen. The company cannot be reached by public transport.
• You have a forklift certificate, don't you have one? No problem! Because you can get this via UBN before you start.

It is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. You work from 07:00 to 16:30, keep in mind that your working day can take longer as we ask you not to have a 09:00-17:00 mentality. The first six weeks (that's how long the induction process takes) of your employment, the salary is between EUR 2,000 and EUR 2,300 per month. You start on a temporary basis, but after six months there is an evaluation. Are you satisfied and is the company satisfied? Then you will receive a contract within the organization!

You will work for a wholesaler that has been selling cacti since 1945. Have you ever been to Ikea? Then you probably know the small cacti that you can buy there per 3. These (and other) cacti will be packed at your new workplace! They also supply to, among others, Lidl and Carre Four (a French supermarket chain).
