Warehouse employee

Do you know the saying that you can't see the wood for the trees? Well this is not about you, because you are a star in keeping an overview and structure in the warehouse! You will work at your workplace in Amsterdam Westpoort as a warehouse employee. Your tasks will consist of 80% of checking and packaging the shipments. In addition, you will help your colleagues with order picking. You collect the right goods as an order picker, check the orders and ensure that everything is processed in the system. You do this with the a Reach truck so experience and a valid certificate is necessary. Do you not have a valid certifacte? No worries! UBN will arrange this for you!

You make sure everything is organized again and that all "trees" are neatly in the right place. You know how to find every product right away and you prepare it for shipment without any problems, you are also involved in sorting goods. Finally, you and your colleagues ensure that you keep it neat and clean, so occasionally a broom through the warehouse is no problem for you!

• You can concentrate for a longer period of time, checking the orders needs your full attention;
• You master the Dutch and English language, you work with an international computer system;
• You have experience on the Reach truck.

At frist you will work on a temporary basis, but after some time there is the possibility to get a contract with the client! This is what we offer you:

• A full-time job of 40 hours a week, from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 16:00h;
• The salary is between EUR 12 and EUR 14 gross per hour (based on 40 hours and experience);
• Travel allowance of EUR 0,21 per km;
• Development opportunities; UBN offers various courses if you need it.

We develops, builds and maintains machines and systems. These machines and systems ensure that foodstuffs and beverages have a longer shelf life. But they also take care of filling it in consumer packaging. You work at headquarters. However, these machines and systems are used worldwide in the dairy and beverage industry, among others.
