Job description

You as the warehouse employee has a shared responsibility to ensure that all possible warehouse tasks are realized according to the organizations guidelines and procedures. Your workplace will be located in Amsterdam at approx. 12 min walk or 5 min by bike from Sloterdijk Station. In this role is expected work in multiple areas of the warehouse.

Your daily tasks will consist of process receiving goods, packing deliveries, process returns, shipping deliveries, create stickers and sort out, report and assist in resolving discrepancies, handling found frames or frames received from other departments. Furthermore you will:

  • Handling administrative tasks to close all shipments.
  • Run queries in SAP for various purposes depending on the department.
  • Correct stock levels in case of a difference according to (cyclecount) procedures and instructions.

You work in a warehouse environment, while performing the tasks of this position you must regularly speak clearly and concisely because there is a lot of noise in the warehouse, it is important that you work safely you have a lot of stairs and steps, so safe walking in the warehouse including moving equipment and shipping materials. In addition, you have the following working conditions in your role:

  • Sitting or standing for a long time
  • Bend at the knee, hip and twist at the waist
  • Reach for objects with hands, hold boxes and/or bins with hands and reach above the shoulder or below the waist to grasp objects with hands
  • Lift boxes and packages up to 23kg.

Requirements

We are asking following requirements:

  • You are available for fulltime 40 hours a week from Monday till Friday;
  • Flexible availability on various shifts between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm (working day from 8 am, start time at 6:00 am, 8:00 am, 9:00 am or 11:00 am);
  • Able to submit a VOG;
  • Master in Dutch or English speaking;
  • Flexible use in different departments;
  • Able to help/improve work (standing/lifting).

What we have to offer?

We offer you a full-time job of 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday with a salary of 11 EUR gross per hour. Your working hours are between 06:00 am and 20:00 pm, you will receive a fixed schedule which, in consultation, can sometimes deviate with the following starting times 6.00 am, 8.00 am, 9.00 am or 11.00 am. In addition, you will receive a km allowance of 0,19 EUR per day worked or a full travel allowance per worked day.

We are a large organization with more than 70 colleagues in the warehouse only. There is an open atmosphere where everyone knows each other! So we cannot wait to meet you!
